I’m Dez, and thank you for checking out my site!

I live in Burlington, VT with my long term SO Devin and my two cats. I love baking, singing, music, movies, good food, dinosaurs, space, animals, and so many more things in no particular order.

I’m always working on some project or another (usually at the same time?) and I’m hoping to use this as an outlet for those random creative moments, as well as keeping consistent with my photographs and recipes.

I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis when I was 19 years old, and had a total colectomy in 2007. Because of this, I’ve spent a lot of time learning and testing out different types of meal plans for people like me, with dietary needs/restrictions. I’ve adapted some recipes and created some new ones that have become favorites over the years, and I plan to use this platform to share those recipes. And keep making new experiments.
